Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed another 332 coronavirus cases and 22 Covid-19 fatalities, the healthcare authorities said on Wednesday.

The new results came from 3,050 lab tests performed.

The Federation (FBiH) entity has confirmed 191 new cases out of 2,325 lab tests, while 17 patients died in the last 24 hours. The region’s healthcare authorities also reported the recovery of 192 patients. Currently, there are 10,685 active cases in this part of the country.

As for Republika Srpska (RS) entity, its authorities performed 654 lab tests and confirmed 125 new Covid-19 patients. Five fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours. The total of 624 Covid-19 patients is hospitalised in this region at the moment.

Brcko District reported 16 new cases since the last update.

Bosnia’s coronavirus total now stands at 120,864, with 4,643 deaths among Covid-19 patients.

The total of 93,657 Covid-19 patients has recovered, 325 in the last 24 hours.

The country's healthcare authorities have to date performed nearly 600,000 coronavirus tests among the population.
