Under the decision, the custody may last for one month, until August 28, 2026, or until a different decision is issued by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Custody was ordered based on reasonable suspicion that the suspect committed the criminal offense of damaging or demolishing religious buildings under the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the criminal offense of inciting national, racial and religious hatred, discord or intolerance, as well as the criminal offense of causing general danger.

The decision was also based on specific grounds for custody, namely the risk of flight and the risk that the suspect could commit another criminal offense if released, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina said.
