Bosnia's Disciplinary Counsel has launched a disciplinary procedure against state prosecutor Diana Kajmakovic, who was recently sanctioned by US Treasury Department over corruption and undermining democratic processes and institutions.
Several days ago, the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has delivered documents concerning Kajmakovic's actions in certain cases to Disciplinary Counsel Alena Kurspahic.
The Office of the Disciplinary Counsel told N1 that the investigation is ongoing.
“The public will be informed about the Office's decision regarding the disciplinary procedure before the disciplinary bodies of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of as soon as the investigation is completed,” said the Office.
Kajmakovic was relocated in August this year to the War Crimes Department after she was at the helm of the team for corruption of the BiH Prosecutor's Office. Previously, she was removed from the team that worked on the decoding of Sky app, because her name was mentioned among the members of the crime groups.
