Following the death of Pope Francis, the Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein Kavazovic, has extended his condolences to Monsignor Dr. Tomo Vuksic, Archbishop of Vrhbosna and Apostolic Administrator of the Military Ordinariate of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“We were all saddened this morning by the news of Pope Francis' passing. As believers, we understand the path we must inevitably take. Yet, the departure of good people always brings sorrow to our hearts. Pope Francis was a righteous man, a voice for the poor and the marginalised. He sought to build a better world alongside Muslims, and we hope to follow his path.
Dear Archbishop Vuksic, please accept my sincere condolences. I pray for his soul. May he rest in God's peace,” Grand Mufti Kavazovic said during his conversation with Archbishop Vuksic.
