Bosnia Grand Mufti offers Easter greetings to Metropolitan Hrizostom and Orthodox community

In a formal message, the Grand Mufti expressed his hope that the holiday would bring peace and joy to the Orthodox faithful, their families, and their neighbours.

"On behalf of the Islamic Community and in a personal capacity, I wish that Easter, a festival of love and joy, is celebrated in peace," the Grand Mufti stated.

He highlighted the long-standing tradition of interfaith harmony in the country, noting that Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina continue to share in the celebrations of their Orthodox and Catholic neighbours as they have for centuries.

"We share this common homeland and rely on one another as good neighbours," he added.

Concluding his message, Husein-effendi Kavazovic offered prayers for the preservation of freedom and peace, wishing prosperity for the Metropolitan and the entire Orthodox community.
