Bosnia heading into another heatwave

The alert will be active for the period from August 22 to August 27, when temperatures are expected to reach up to 42 Celzius in the central parts of the country.

According to Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the maximum temperatures in that period will range between 33 and 40 degrees in the north and up to 42 degrees in the central parts.

Older and very young persons might be exposed to health risks due to the weather changes, the weather services have warned.
