Bosnia and Herzegovina has logged 731 new coronavirus cases and 24 fatalities, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Saturday.

The new results come from 2,614 lab tests performed on those who reported the infection symptoms.

The Federation entity (FBiH) confirmed 461 new cases out of 1,700 those who tested, bringing the total in this part of BiH to 159,480. Eight COVID-19 patients died over the past 24 hours and the death toll now stands at 6,302.

In Republika Srpska entity (RS) 250 of 770 tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The coronavirus total in this part of BiH now stands at 81,014 and with 14 new fatalities the death toll is at 4,654.

Brcko District reported 21 new COVID-19 patients out of 144 those who tested, bringing the total to 8,196. The authorities also confirmed two new fatalities, 390 in total.
