Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded 975 new coronavirus cases and 19 fatalities, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Saturday.

The new results came from 3,337 lab tests performed on those who reported the infection symptoms.

The Federation (FBiH) entity logged 646 new cases out of 2,351 tests, bringing the coronavirus total in this part of the country to 168,996. The region's death toll stands at 6,643.

Healthcare authorities in Republika Srpska (RS) entity performed 800 lab tests of which 290 turned out positive for the novel coronavirus. The region has to date confirmed 86,715 COVID-19 patients and 4,939 deaths.

Brcko District reported 39 new cases and two deaths. The total of 8,851 coronavirus cases and 403 deaths have been confirmed in this administrative unit since the epidemic outbreak.
