A commemoration was held Wednesday in Trusina, near Konjic, marking 32 years since the war crime in which members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH) killed 22 Croat civilians and Croat Defence Council (HVO) soldiers on April 16, 1993.

The massacre occurred in the early morning hours and was carried out by the ARBiH special forces unit "Zulfikar."

Several individuals have been convicted for their involvement. The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sentenced Edin Dzeko to 13 years, Rasema Handanovic to five and a half years, and Mensur Memic to 10 years in prison.

Additionally, Nedzad Hodzic received a 12-year sentence, while Nihad Bojadzic was sentenced to 15 years.

Meanwhile, Dzevad Salcin and Senad Hakalovic were acquitted of all charges.

Zulfikar Alispago was also indicted for the crime in Trusina, but his trial was suspended due to health issues.
