The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Monday added six new destinations, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the list of high-risk countries for travel due to the sudden increase in people infected with the coronavirus.
Apart from Bosnia, Poland is another European country that is included in the list of high-risk countries, i.e. in group 3, as categorized by this American regulatory agency.
Level 3 is the highest step in terms of risk level in April after the agency overhauled its rating system for assessing the risk of Covid-19 to travelers.
This applies to countries that have registered over 100 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the past 28 days. Level 2 and 1 include countries of “moderate” and “low” risk, respectively.
