Bosnia records 202,480 tourists in June, down from 2024 figures

In June, tourists recorded 408,776 overnight stays, which is 2.3% more than in May 2025 but 2.7% fewer than in June 2024.

Of the total overnight stays, domestic tourists accounted for 29%, while foreign tourists made up 71%. The number of overnight stays by domestic tourists decreased by 7.2% compared to May 2025 but increased by 4.2% compared to June 2024. Overnight stays by foreign tourists increased by 6.8% compared to May 2025 but were 5.2% lower than in June 2024.

Among foreign visitors in June 2025, the most overnight stays were recorded by tourists from Turkey (11.7 percent), Serbia (9.9 percent), Saudi Arabia (8.9 percent), Croatia (7.9 percent), Germany (5.1 percent), China (4.7 percent), Poland (4.3 percent).

Together, these countries accounted for 52.5 percent of all foreign overnight stays. Tourists from other countries made up the remaining 47.5 percent, according to data from the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
