Bosnia registers 172 new coronavirus infections and 11 COVID-19 fatalities

A total of 172 people among 1,128 tested in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours were confirmed infected with the coronavirus and another 11 COVID-19 patients passed away, healthcare authorities said on Wednesday.

In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 130 of 812 people tested were positive for the virus, while five patients died.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 32 among the 234 people tested were confirmed positive and six COVID-19 fatalities were reported.

Bosnia’s Brcko District registered another 10 infections.
