A total of 179 new coronavirus infections were registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina while no COVID-19 fatalities were reported in the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities said on Wednesday.

Of the 1,940 people tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity since Tuesday, 138 were confirmed positive.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 239 people were tested and 41 of them were confirmed positive.

Bosnia’ Brcko District did not register any new infections.
