A total of 223 people tested positive for the coronavirus and 16 COVID-19 patients passed away in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities said on Sunday.
In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 102 of 822 people tested since Saturday were positive for the virus. However, the Sarajevo University Clinical Centre has not submitted the results for the past 24 hours. One COVID-19 fatality was registered, while three more that took place previously were reported as well.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 374 samples were tested and 119 of them were positive for the virus, while 15 COVID-19 deaths were reported.
Two new infections were also reported in Bosnia’s Brcko District.
