A total of 26 people tested positive for the coronavirus and two COVID-19 patients passed away in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, while 697 recovered, healthcare authorities said on Thursday.
Both COVID-19 fatalities took place in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, where 1,236 people were tested since Wednesday and 18 of them were positive for the virus.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), the results for six of the 221 people tested came back positive.
Bosnia’s Brcko District registered two new infections.
A total of 204, 936 people tested positive for the coronavirus across the country since the beginning of the pandemic and 181,559 of them recovered so far.
Bosnia's COVID-19 death toll is 9,654.
There are currently 13,723 active coronavirus cases in the country.
