A total of 393 new coronavirus infections were confirmed and 38 people died due to COVID-19 in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities said on Monday.
Of the 1,718 people tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity since Sunday, 304 were positive for the virus and 25 COVID-19 patients passed away.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 86 of 495 people tested were positive and 12 died due to the disease.
Bosnia’s Brcko District registered three new infections and one COVID-19 fatality.
More than 137,000 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in BiH since the beginning of the pandemic and the COVID-19 death toll is nearly 5,300.
