Bosnian health officials reported 1,170 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, along with 36 virus-related fatalities.

The country's Federation (FBiH) entity reported 856 new cases after testing 3,173 samples for the new coronavirus. The entity's Public Health Institute said they recorded 28 deaths caused by the virus.

The Republika Srpska (RS) region said they registered 278 new cases of the disease after testing 1,034 suspected samples. This entity also reported having eight fatalities over the last 24 hours.

Brcko District health officials said they recorded 36 new coronavirus cases.
