Bosnia and Herzegovina reported another 1,368 coronavirus cases and 40 deaths among Covid-19 patients, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Saturday.
Out of 2,223 test for the novel coronavirus in Bosnia's Federation region over the last 24 hours, 861 came out positive. The region also reported 21 deaths, bringing the death toll in this part of the country to 3,839.
Currently, there are 20,573 active cases in the Federation entity.
Over the last 24 hours, Republika Srpska performed 1,154 lab tests on those who reported infection system and confirmed 420 new cases.
With 19 more deaths reported in this part of the country, the region's death toll is now 2,746.
There are 1,354 hospitalised patients in Republika Srpska region with 115 those on ventilator support.
Brcko District reported 87 new cases, while 18 patients recovered.
The authorities in all parts of the country decided to extend epidemiological measures for another two weeks, which include curfew hours and closed bars and restaurants. Republika Srpska region announced the opening of shopping malls as of Monday, under the condition that those measures in force are strictly obeyed.
