The authorities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday were informed about the improving epidemiological situation and therefore the obligation of COVID certificates and protective masks was lifted. The local authorities in the ten cantons that make up the federation were told to follow the developments concerning coronavirus and public health.

The Bosnian Serb entity also abolished the obligation of COVID certificates and masks indoors.

Wearing protecting masks is only obligatory in healthcare institutions.

Hospitals throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina report fewer and fewer hospitalisations of COVID patients.
