Bosnian government temporarily suspended visa regime for the citizens of Saudi Arabia visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the period between July 7 and October 1, 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Wednesday.

The Council of Ministers of BiH passed the decision at the proposal of Foreign Minister Elmedin Konakovic.

“At the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, the Council of Ministers of BiH has just passed a decision on temporary suspension of visa regime for the citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the period from July 7 until October 2023, i.e. during the summer tourist season of 2023,” the ministry said.

It was also noted that facilitation of the visa regime with Saudi Arabia is in the interest of BiH, for further improvement of economic cooperation and promotion of tourist and economic capacities of BiH.
