Bosnia’s national basketball team defeated the team Montenegro Thursday night in Tuzla, in the duel of the 11th round of group K of qualifications for the World Cup, with 74:66 and the game was closely watched by 50 loyal fans of Ultra Montenegro whose arrival was welcomed by Bosnian fans who showed great neighbourly relationship through examples even outside the sports field, Tuzlanski.ba reported.
Namely, after the match a Tuzla resident named Edin and his friends, who were on their way home, met several Montenegrin fans in the city center who were trying to find accommodation:
“We saw that they were looking for something, we approached and asked if we could help. They didn't have accommodation because everything was either full or no one contacted them at that time. We quickly organized and found accommodation for the four fans from Podgorica. As a sign of gratitude, they insisted that we go out for a drink together, which we did. The guys were so pleasant that they drank a few drinks and had an extremely pleasant conversation,” Edin told Tuzlanski.ba, adding that at the end they exchanged contacts and flags and wished each other good luck on Sunday.
“The experience was short and very positive, and I'm glad that they left Tuzla with very nice memories,” Edin concluded.
The friendship between the two sports teams, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, continues to delight the sports public.
