The swimming club SPID performed with a total of seven swimmers who had 24 starts and swam 20 personal records.

Ismail Barlov, a representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who achieved the A standards for the Paralympic Games in Paris, returned from the Croatian capital with three golds and one silver. Ismail Zulfic won gold, silver and two bronzes, and Elmedina Djocaj achieved the same result. Jasmin Stanar, Kanita Sabanovic, Hena Godinjak and Lejla Sporisevic also performed in Zagreb, accompanied by coaches Ilda Kukuruzovic and Amra Arapovic.

“The best competition in the region, which brought together excellent swimmers who won medals at major competitions such as the Paralympic Games, World and European Championships came at the end of the calendar year. Our Ismail Barlov received the award for the most successful result in the junior category and third place in the total sum of points in four different disciplines. We are very satisfied with our swimmers who achieved top sports results. We would like to thank the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Paralympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina and BH Telecom, as well as the organizer for the excellent organization and we’ll be seeing you again next year in Zagreb,” SPID Swimming Club said.
