Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Becirovic, along with his wife Mirela, attended a reception in New York hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina and the U.S. share strong and friendly ties, and our strategic goal is to further strengthen these relations. The meeting with President Biden and the First Lady was an opportunity to express gratitude to the President and the people of the U.S. for their ongoing support to our country,” Becirovic stated, as per his office's announcement.

He added that he was pleased with Biden’s continued full support for Bosnia and Herzegovina and highlighted the U.S. President’s “personal connection” to the country.
