Bosnian prime minister Zoran Tegeltija decided on Friday to dismiss the BiH Human Rights and Refugees Minister Milos Lucic.

“In accordance with the agreement between political parties on the establishment of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the distribution of ministries, the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees belonged to the representatives from the Republika Srpska entity in the Council of Ministers (as the BiH government is officially called). According to the coalition agreement between political parties from the Republika Srpska, the function of the Minister for Human Rights and Refugees belonged to the Democratic People's Alliance (DNS), and Milos Lucic was appointed as it was proposed by this party. Considering that the DNS decided to leave the coalition and continue opposition activities, and bearing in mind that the current convocation of the Council of Ministers does not have the support of the DNS in the House of Representatives of BiH, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers dismissed Minister Lucic,” the Council of Ministers said.

The decision on Lucic's dismissal was submitted to the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.
