Bosnian women’s national volleyball team made a historic success on Saturday evening and qualified for its first ever participation in the European Volleyball Championship, taking place this year.

The Bosnians defeated the Latvian team 3-0 in sets and secured a spot in the championship even before the end of the qualifiers, as the second team in Group F.

The group leader is Czechia, which defeated the Bosnian team a day ago.

The 32nd edition of the Women's European Volleyball Championship will be hosted this year by Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania.
