Bosnia's Becirovic participating in international conference in Berlin

The Berlin conference is a continuation of the annual series of high-level political events dedicated to the rapid recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine. It is also the first conference on Ukraine to be held in a European Union member state.

The first day of the Conference began with the opening address of the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, then the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen spoke.

The first plenary session is held under the motto: "United in defence. United in recovery".

Chairman Becirovic participated in the working meeting of the heads of state and government, where he spoke about the experiences of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the recovery of the country after the destruction of the 1992-1995 war.

During the Conference, the progress of Ukrainian reforms in the context of its economic resilience and the process of joining the European Union will be discussed, as well as finding new models of economic self-sustainability and resilience of the Ukrainian economy through the mobilization of human potential and the private sector with the aim of recovering Ukraine, the Presidency Chairman's Cabinet announced.
