Denis Becirovic, the Bosniak member of Bosnia's tripartite Presidency, told Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama that the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina supports the Berlin Process and assessed as harmful the blocking of agreement on freedom of movement in the region reached within that regional initiative.

Becirovic met with Rama during his visit to Sarajevo on Friday and told him it is necessary to end the obstructions coming from Bosnia's Republika Srpska entity, adding that there is no justified reason for RS entity to block the signing of three agreements within the Berlin Process.

It is particularly harmful that the RS entity is blocking the adoption of the Agreement on Freedom of Movement with Identity Cards in the Western Balkans. This represents a direct attack on the building of good regional relations and it must be stopped immediately, Becirovic said, according to press release issued by his office.

Becirovic and Rama assessed that the relations between the two countries are friendly and expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation so far. The officials concluded that there is a mutual interest in further improvement of the current good relations and that the opening of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Albania, as well as the opening of the Embassy of Albania in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will contribute to this.

Becirovic informed PM Rama about the threat to the constitutional order of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and pointed out the seriousness of the situation in the country.

Albanian PM previously met with his Bosnian counterpart, Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers Borjana Kristo.
