Bosnia's best cyclist awarded with diplomatic passport

Njemcevic, currently number one on the world's list of best cyclists, thanked for the passport, which will certainly facilitate travel to competitions during the season.

“The greatest honour for an athlete is to defend the colours of their homeland at international competitions. The diplomatic passport of my Bosnia and Herzegovina is an exceptional privilege, but also an obligation to represent our country in the best possible way both at competitions and outside of competitions by promoting its beauty and sights. Thank you to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister Elmedin Konakovic,” said Njemcevic.

Last season, she spent 21 weeks at the top of the world cycling marathon ranking list, and she has entered the new season as the first-ranked athlete in the world.
