Dzumhur was fined six and a half thousand US dollars for interrupting the match and inappropriate behaviour on the field. He will also be left without $5,280 from the prize fund he won so far. Unfortunately, that will not be the end of his troubles.

In addition to the fines imposed on him at the scene, the ATP will open an additional investigation under the penalties for serious offences.

It is not yet known what additional penalty could befall Bosnia’s best tennis player, who currently ranks 125th on the ATP ranking list.
