Bosnia's Federation (FBiH) entity adopted the information on measures of indirect price control which are within the cantons' competencies, suggesting they should decrease margins on bread, flour and milk products, the government said on Thursday.
The government recommended that the competent cantonal authorities adopt decisions on the amount of maximum trade margins for all types of flour, all types of bread, pastries and other bakery products from cereal flour, and pasteurized, homogenized and sterile milk, within 15 days.
The FBiH government recommended that a maximum wholesale margin these products should be set up to eight percent on the purchase price and a maximum retail margin of up to 10 percent on the purchase price.
The information itself noted that decisions on measures of the direct price control of cantonal governments for products within their competence are still in force.
Considering the valid decisions of cantonal governments on these measures the government said they had determined that some cantons prescribed considerably higher trade margins on these products.
