The traditional Eid reception began at the seat of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina with Grand Mufti Husein Kavazovic welcoming various Bosnian dignitaries.

As in previous years, a large number of BiH officials from all levels of government, officials from institutions and representatives of political parties, ambassadors and many others, came to congratulate Eid to the Grand Mufti.

Among the first to arrive were the Head of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, Irfan Cengic, as well as Abdulah Skaka, the former Mayor of Sarajevo, and Denis Becirovic, a member of the BiH Presidency.
