Bosnia’s Indirect Taxation Administration (ITA BiH) marked a new record in revenues from indirect taxes, the Administration said Saturday, adding that in August, the largest monthly amount of revenue since the establishment of this institution was collected, reaching as much as 979 million Bosnian marks (some €500 million).
“Cumulatively, revenues from indirect taxes in eight months of 2023 amounted to six billion and 931 million marks (around € 3,5 billion) and are higher by 495 million (dome €250 million) or 7.69 percent compared to the same period in 2022 when they amounted to six billion and 436 million marks.
An amount of 679 million (nearly €347 million) has been allocated for the financing of state institutions in the period January-August 2023.
The rest of the collected revenues ended up with the entities and Brcko District of BiH.
Thus, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received two billion 982 million marks (some €1.5 billion) from the single account, the Republika Srpska one billion and 614 million (around €825 million) and the Brcko District 165 million marks (roughly €85).
