Bosnia's J. Zbanic best director, 'Quo vadis, Aida?' best European film 2021

I thank my mother who passed away but left an ocean of love, that ocean protects me and I persevere because of it. Right after Jasmila received her reward, Jasna Djuricic, the actress who plays the main role of Aida in the film "Quo vadis, Aida", was named the best actress at the 34th European Film Awards.

Jasna Djuricic was born in Ruma on April 16, 1966. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia, in the class of Professor Branko Plesa. She has been a permanent member of the Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad since 1990, where she was a drama champion. Now she is a freelance artist.

Later in the ceremony, Zbanic's 'Quo vadis, Aida?' was declared the best European film of 2021.
