Bosnia's Jonquel Jones on her way to breaking the WNBA league record

FIBA

Never in the history of the women's NBA league has a player finished the season with an average of over 21 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists, but this could soon change as Bosnia's Jonquel Jones has the opportunity to set new standards in the WNBA league.

Jonquel Jones, who at the recently held European Women's Championship dominated every statistical column in every game playing for the BiH national team, currently has 21.1 points, 10.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists playing for Connecticut Sun.

Connecticut Sun is currently taking first place in the Eastern Conference with a ratio of 12-6, and Friday night the Sun could mathematically secure first place before the playoffs, also known as the “Commissioner's Cup”.

If Connecticut wins first place, it will be mostly thanks to Jonquel Jones, who is perhaps the best basketball player in the world at the moment.
