Sasa Magazinovic, the Chairman of the Bosnian Parliament's Delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, arrived in Kyiv where he met with the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk and reaffirmed the solidarity with the people of Ukraine. He stressed that the aggression against Ukraine is not only a war against this country but an attack on the entire Europe.

Stefanchuk thanked Bosnia and Herzegovina for the support, emphasising that both countries will make steps forward on its European path.

Magazinovic also attended the briefing of the Ukraine's Military Intelligence Service, organised for the representatives of the European Union member states’ parliaments as well as the delegations of the Council of Europe member states under auspices of the intelligence chief Kyryl Budanov and his deputy Vadym Skibytsky. This was the first time that a delegation visited this institution since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and informed about the situation in the warzones.

Head of the Bosnian delegation and other guests also met with the representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea Tamil Tashev to discuss the legislative plans for the period after the end of the occupation of Crimea.

The discussion particularly focused on the violation of human rights of the people who live on the occupied territories, the pressures and persecution of political opponents.

Magazinovic is paying the visit to Ukraine on the occasion of the second anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

He is also set to attend a special session of the Parliament of Ukraine, which is taking place on the occasion of this anniversary.
