According to the conclusions, the RS authorities will take no action related to early vote for the President of Republika Srpska, after Dodik was stripped of office based on the court ruling.

The parliament rejected the Court verdict sentencing Milorad Dodik to one year in prison and six-year political ban, for defying decisions of the Constitutional Court and international community's peace envoy Christian Schmidt. It also rejected the Central Election Commission's to terminate Dodik's mandate based on the Court verdict.

The entity assembly then passed the amendments to the Law on Referendum and Citizen's initiative in urgent procedure, calling a referendum and scheduling it for October 25.

Reportedly, the referendum question should ask the citizens: Do you accept the decisions of the unelected foreigner Christian Schmidt and the rulings of the unconstitutional Court of BiH against President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik as well as the Central Election Commission's decision on depriving President of Republika Srpska of mandate?

Of 65 present MPs, 50 members of the National Assembly of RS voted for the conclusions with none voting against or abstaining from the voting.

The conclusions were passed without the votes of the opposition MPs, namely the representatives of the PDP, the SDS, the People's Front and the Justice and Order List, who decided to not attend the vote at all.

The State Court ruling against now former President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik is final and binding as well as the Central Election Commission's decision on his mandate, which cannot be a subject of a referendum.
