Bosnia's Republika Srpska (RS) entity Crisis Staff passed new, much stricter measures envisaging the reduction of public gatherings, but also regulating the work of gyms.

Thus they reduced the number of people in public gatherings to 30, and private ones to 10 individuals.

The ban will continue for the next seven days on gyms, fitness centres and live music performances. A novelty is the ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages from 10 pm to 6 am.

“There was a drop in discipline. Additional controls for shopping malls and cafes will follow over the weekend. Vaccination for those older than 65, will start from Saturday until Monday in all health centres across Republika Srpska,” Branislav Zeljkovic, director of the RS Institute of Public Health, pointed out.
