January-June this year, BiH exports amounted to 8.68 billion marks (some €4,44 billion), which is 4.5 percent less than in the first half of 2022, while imports decreased by 0.6 percent and amounted to 13.61 billion marks (or € 6,96 billion).

BiH Statistics Agency said that the imports-exports coverage stood at 63.8 percent.

Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 1.61 billion marks (some €820 million) which is 5.4 percent less than in the same period last year, while imports had a value of 1.58 billion marks (approx. €810,000), which is 6.1 percent less.

The imports-exports coverage with CEFTA countries was 101.6 percent.

Exports to EU countries amounted to 6.39 billion marks (nearly € 3,27 billion), and were 4.6 percent less than in the first half of 2022, while imports amounted to 7.93 billion marks (some € 4,06 billion), representing a 3.5 percent increase. The imports-exports coverage with the EU countries stood at 80.7 percent.
