Bosnia's FC Velez played 1:1 against the welcoming Swedish team of Elfsborg Thursday evening, in the first match of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

Velez had the corner kick in the 31st minute of the match when the Bosnian team scored. Only 2 minutes later, from the first kick, after Velez scored, the Swedes approached the goal and thanks to the mistake of the Velez defence, scored the equalizing goal.

After that, each team had a good chance to take the lead but none managed to materialize it.

With the match finishing 1:1, the rematch will be played next Thursday in Sarajevo. Should Velez win this match, they will play against the winner of the Luzern – Feyenoord match.
