Bosnia's young robotics team launches satellite collecting data from atmosphere

"We finished everything a long time ago and everything works perfectly. The cube (satellite) measured pressure, humidity and temperature. It will take two types of photos - UW radiation and air pollution," said the team's mentor, Anes Hadziomerovic.

He explained that teams from all participating countries will send their results at the same time.

“We expect the results to be announced on Wednesday or Thursday and we hope to maintain the leading position,” he added.
"There were difficult parts. All of this is challenging. Many sleepless nights are behind us. It was definitely interesting and this is one of the best experiences in my life,” said team leader, Fatima Sidran.

"Since we didn't have all the resources, we had to let our imagination run wild, and that's how we achieved everything in the end," she said.

In addition to Sidran, the Bosnian team consisted of Lejla Nuhic, Anis Kazazic and Merjema Pajic from the Second Gymnasium in Mostar, and Marko Masnic, Luka Jurkovic and Luka Dzalto from the Capljina High School.
