Bosnia's Zenica-Doboj Canton will introduce a curfew beginning Saturday from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am, over the next 14 days, the Cantonal Government said Friday.
The order excludes all employees involved in the implementation of measures and activities to address the coronavirus epidemic, employees whose work process takes place in shifts, intercity and international passenger transport, taxi services, as well as truck drivers in domestic and international transport, who must have the approval of the employers.
The government also banned weddings and other celebrations and closed all kindergartens in the Canton for a period of 14 days.
The orders were issued at the proposal of the Cantonal Health Ministry Crisis Staff and they will remain in force for the next 14 days when the Interior Ministry and the Directorate for Inspection Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton will be in charge of controlling their implementation.
