Brave girl from Belgrade opens the Mostar bridge diving competition

Tara made her first dive last year when she was 13 years old, so the organizers of this year’s event invited her to open this year's diving competition in the show section.

"This year it was less scary for me to jump, last year was my first time and I was nervous. I arrived last night and didn't have time to prepare, so this morning I trained a little with the divers," said Tara.

A total of 33 divers from the countries of the region are competing Sunday, 18 of them in the standing dive discipline and 15 in the forward dive.

The plateau under the Old Bridge is crowded with visitors from various parts of the world who, despite today's high temperatures, are enjoying the spectacle.
