Business forums in Beijing highlight Bosnia's investment potential

The events focused on promoting international expansion opportunities for Chinese enterprises and enhancing economic cooperation with global partners. Organized by the Economic Federation of Chinese Commercial Joint-Stock Enterprises, the forums gathered approximately 400 participants, including diplomatic mission representatives, the business community, and numerous Chinese companies aiming to invest and enter foreign markets.

During the program, Bosnia was highlighted as an attractive investment destination offering favorable conditions for long-term investments. Key emphasis was placed on the country’s strategic geographical position, competitive business environment, developed energy and industrial capacities, favorable tax system, and significant potential in scientific research and technological development. The country’s tourism and cultural resources were also presented to boost its international visibility and attractiveness.

The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to China, Sinisa Berjan, addressed the participants via video presentation as an opening speaker at both events. He outlined the main advantages of investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing mechanisms for protecting foreign investments, the benefits of operating within free zones, and various opportunities for developing joint projects with Chinese partners.

The forums provided a platform for direct communication between Chinese company representatives and the Embassy of Bosnia in China, offering detailed insights into the investment environment and future economic cooperation models. As a concrete outcome, a delegation of Chinese business representatives agreed to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina in the coming months to explore business opportunities and establish new partnerships.
