Sarajevo Canton's sanitary and market-tourist inspectors have a busy night during New Year's Eve while monitoring the implementation of epidemiological measures, Vildana Brdaric, expert advisor for information to the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs, told N1 Thursday night.
The teams were deployed across the entire Sarajevo Canton, and in all cases of violation of the prescribed measures, they have re-established them during supervision, in which the inspectors were assisted by police officers of the Canton Sarajevo Police.
“We would like to add that any case of non-compliance with the ordered measures will be sanctioned at the moment of supervision, with the imposition of financial sanctions prescribed by the Law on Protection of the Population from Infectious Diseases,” she told N1.
The Cantonal Inspection said they will continue with the supervision in the coming days, as well, of which they will inform the public in due time.
