BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik said that his decision to once again withhold approval for the appointment of a new German ambassador to BiH "is already producing results" and that he had to draw attention to the fact that "Germany has been making very indicative moves for over a year."
Regarding this decision and accusations that he was “straining relations with Germany”, Dodik said that he is nobody’s servant.
“We had to draw attention. It already produced some results, yesterday. The German Embassy said that it stands behind the Dayton Agreement and Republika Srpska in a convoluted way, but it still said it. We couldn't hear that over the past few years, and now we have that story,” Dodik told “Pink” TV.
He pointed out that “the main problem in BiH is the foreigners who never allowed the domestic political forces to come to an agreement or reach a basic consensus,” noting that there were “examples of domestic politicians agreeing, only to be destroyed in two days by the foreigners in Sarajevo.”
“Their interventionism is illegal, against the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, anti-Dayton, it has been going on for too long – for almost 26 years, foreigners have governed Bosnia and Herzegovina, and they haven’t succeeded in creating a sustainable functioning model, and their interventionism is intensifying even more,” Dodik said adding:
“Germany motive is the neoliberal concept through the ‘Greens’ and the inert positions of the Social Democrats. They imposed solutions based on stereotypes about bad Serbs. We are bad for them throughout history and that’s a known fact. Now they started, from Christian Schmidt [the High Representative in BiH], through the Resolution, judges of the Constitutional Court, to the soldiers they have now sent to BiH, to show that they intend to implement their policies with the use of armed force.”
He pointed out that in such circumstances he has no right to be naive and think that it is all a coincidence.
