The Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced modifications to the border crossings and their operating hours. This decision was made by the Joint Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia.

The Border Police of BiH stated that temporary international traffic for passengers is approved at the following permanent border crossings for border traffic: Vaganj – Bili Brig, Gabela – Gabela Polje I, Kozarska Dubica – Hrvatska Dubica, Orahov Do – Slano, and Drinovacko Brdo – Slivno. This approval lasts for three months, or until the next session of the Joint Commission, with the operating hours being 24/7.

These border crossings will be open for international traffic during the summer period to alleviate congestion at other border points. Typically, these crossings are used by local residents outside of the peak season.

Additionally, the operating hours of the following permanent border crossings for border traffic have been changed: Vinica – Aržano Pazar, Subasici – Dvorine, Trzacka Rastela – Kordunski Ljeskovac, Zagrad – Pašin Potok, Kaldrma – Licka Kaldrma, and Prolog – Podprolog. These crossings will now operate 24/7 for three months, or until the next Joint Commission meeting.

From August 1, 2024, to October 1, 2024, temporary international traffic for passengers is approved at the following permanent border crossings for border traffic: Duzi – Imotica, Citluk – Jovica Most, and Drinovci – Sebesina. These crossings will also operate 24/7.

Additionally, the Hadzin Potok – Bogovolja permanent border crossing for border traffic is approved for temporary international passenger traffic from August 1, 2024, for three months, or until the next session of the Joint Commission, with a 24/7 operating schedule.

Travelers are advised to use alternative border crossings during the summer season, according to the announcement.
