China is sending a donation of 50,000 vaccines against coronavirus to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ambassador Ji Ping confirmed on Wednesday in a meeting with Bosnia's Foreign Minister Bisera Turkovic.

FM Turkovic thanked the ambassador and issued orders to competent bodies to launch all necessary mechanisms for the receipt of the delivery.

“We will engage all relevant institutions in BiH to have this process completed as soon as possible, and to deliver the vaccines to end users,” Turkovic said.

China's donation comes after several other countries including Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey also provided a certain quantity of vaccines for Bosnia and Herzegovina, with Serbia's donations being already delivered.
