The state-owned China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited (CSCEC) company will build a 33-kilometre section of the motorway in the northern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina in line with a €392 million contract signed on Wednesday with the Republika Srpska entity government.
The section of the motorway from Vukosavlje to Brcko is a part of the corridor that connects the Republika Srpska entity with Serbia.
The value of the contract signed today in Banja Luka, the entity's administrative centre, with the CSCEC is 765 million marks (about €392 million).
General manager of the ‘Autoputevi Republika Srpska’ road management company in the entity, Slobodan Stanarevic, said on this occasion that the contract entails the construction of a 33-kilometre section of the motorway from Vukosavlje to Brcko with three interchanges and one roadway rest stop.
