City of Sarajevo holds ceremonial session and ‘April 6’ award ceremony

A ceremonial session on the occasion of April 6, the Day of the City of Sarajevo was held at the City Hall Thursday, at which the April 6 Award Ceremony took place. Pročitaj više

The session was opened by the Sarajevo City Assembly Speaker, Jasmin Ademovic, and Mayor Benjamina Karic, who addressed the audience.

She pointed out that Sarajevo survived even after all the aggression, attacks and fascist influences.

“Our message from this city is that we will never give up. The BiH capital captures the hearts of everyone who comes here. Whoever comes here once, always comes back. Sarajevo is a treasure. This city cannot be ruled over, instead, this city can only be served for,” Karic said.

The winners of the “Sarajevska pahuljica” award are the STEM team of the Second Gymnasium in Sarajevo, Emina Sipovic, Nejra Sipovic and Amajla Kadric, the winner of the “Graham Bamford” award is Pasaga Grbo – Pasa.

The award “Plaque of the City of Sarajevo” was presented to academic Borislav Petrovic, the owner of the Football Club ‘Sarajevo’ Vincent Tan, and professor Anur Hadziomerspahic who was awarded posthumously.
