CNN's Amanpour compares situation in Ukraine to the siege of Sarajevo

CNN’s Christiane Amanpour analyzed the latest events related to Ukraine and their resistance to the Russian invasion where she compared it to the siege of Sarajevo.

Amanpour stayed for four years in Bosnia and Herzegovina and especially in Sarajevo during the 1992-1995 war in the country. Speaking about the situation in Ukraine she pointed out that despite the fact that Sarajevo did not have any help or weapons, and that it was under a UN arms trade embargo – it never fell or surrendered.

She pointed to the systematic preparation and training Ukraine's defence forces had over the last eight years as their great advantage during this war.
